Ruby Jewel has been selected for its small compact habit and lush glossy green foliage. Beautiful ruby red flowers form in autumn through to spring.
Has a variety of uses from hedging to garden borders for rockery planting. It can be pruned to a desired height to create low to medium hedges. It is a great choice for dense low screening in gardens or as a specimen tub plant on the patio.
Grows well in both dappled shade and full sun. It is adaptable to most well drained soils and is a versatile plant. Once this plant is established it will tolerate short periods of dry and light frost conditions.
